Marc joined Marketplace Events (MPE) in 2009 as an Exhibit Sales Consultant with the Indianapolis Home Show, the oldest home show in the U.S. In 2014, he was promoted to Show Manager for the Kansas City shows, and in 2025, he advanced to Group Manager. Marc now oversees the Holiday Boutiques in Des Moines, Kansas City, and Omaha, as well as MPE’s shopping shows in Birmingham and Colorado Springs.
Before MPE, Marc held sales roles at FedEx, Compaq Computers, and FC Tucker. A recipient of MPE’s “CEO Award of Appreciation” in 2015, Marc earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Ball State University.

Kathy joined Marketplace Events in January 2024 as an Exhibit Sales Consultant for the Holiday Boutique shows in Omaha, Des Moines, and Kansas City. With over 25 years of experience in the hospitality, events, and travel industries, she brings a deep understanding of client service and event planning. Her career includes roles as a corporate travel manager, meeting and convention planner, hotel sales director, and travel agency owner—each adding to her expertise and passion for creating successful, engaging events.

Kelsey joined the Marketplace Events family in August of 2022 as a Show Coordinator and now serves as the Customer Service Representative as well. She is excited for the upcoming show season and is looking forward to meeting all the vendors that will be participating in the show! Prior to working for Marketplace Events Kelsey worked as an Operations Manager at Kendra Scott as well as a Real Estate Agent and Property Manager. Kelsey holds a Bachelor's of Human Environmental Sciences degree from the University of Missouri.

Sherri has been with the company since 2015, starting as an Administrative Assistant and taking on various roles over the years based on the needs of the events. Now in the role of Exhibit Sales Consultant, she brings a passion for supporting vendors - helping them grow their businesses and curating a diverse, engaging mix of unique participants. Sherri has been an Exhibit Sales Consultant on our Holiday Boutiques in Kansas City, Des Moines, and Omaha for 10 years, where her expertise and enthusiasm have made a lasting impact. She has also played a key role in launching some of the company’s newer holiday events, contributing to their continued growth and success.
